Jeffrey Sauer

My family moved to Windsor Locks in 1972 to circle drive where we became friends with the Bretons and my Mom is still friends with Emo all these years later. Jeff was a classmate, he was a friend, he had the courage to challenge me on a one on one basis where others had to do it in a group setting. One of my favorite memories is when Jeff was pitching in little league and there were two outs and I was hoping to face him. I even yelled out to let me face him and he just smiled as he struck out the guy in front of me with a curveball and he had a good one. We never faced each other in a game but alot on the practice field. Unfortunately during high school we went in different directions and grew apart. I wished we could have a long lasting friendship just was not meant to be.. I am so sorry to hear about Jeff's passing. He was a good man, husband, father and grandfather. He will be missed by hs family. One thing we had in common was a love for the Red Sox. To Rick, Louie, Mike and Joel I am sorry for your loss, to his wife Gloria, his children and grand children I know he will be missed but he is on a great journey with no pain. God Bless all the Bretons and there families during this time of loss.
