Condolence: My condolences to you all. I have memories of the barber shop as far back as I can remember. There are very few times in my life where the Delisa family has not been involved in my haircuts. I have always enjoyed spending time with Mike. He will be surely missed.

My prayers are with you.

Condolence: Oh, the stories my dad used to tell about Mike DeLisa!--his barber and friend for many years. My favorite is when my father bragged in Mike's shop that he could eat a large quantity of ravioli. Mike bet him that he couldn't finish 8 of his ravioli, so my dad accepted the challenge. He went to Mike's house for dinner, and Mike had made the ravioli himself--and they were the size of dinner plates! Not sure if my dad managed to eat 8 of those, but they had a good laugh. I went to Mike's shop to have my hair done the morning of my first wedding--John cut my hair and my brother's, while we read aloud from a book of "truly tasteless jokes" he had handed us and his mom Irene scolded us--hahaha! and it was comforting to sit in the chair where my dad had so many times, since he had died 50 days earlier. A truly lovely man and family--my condolences to you all.
