Patricia Ann D'Amato, 58 of West Springfield, MA and formerly of Enfield, CT for the prior 54 years fought the good fight before succumbing to multiple health conditions at Baystate Medical Center on Monday, September 17, 2018. Patty was the daughter of the late Pasquale D'Amato (former Police Officer and Sergeant of Enfield, CT) and Theresa (Camerota) D'Amato. She was also predeceased by her sister Mary Elizabeth Hurley and Patricia's beloved fiance Shawn Molloy. Patty was raised in Enfield and was a graduate of Enrico Fermi High School, Class of 1978. She was a workaholic and started her work history before graduating from high school. During her employment she had various occupations from Clerical/customer service to Hospitality/waitressing. In 1984 she started to work at Frankie's Firehouse in Enfield, CT where she was a long time popular waitress.
Patty had a huge heart and a massive laugh to match. She was a fun loving individual who often laughed the loudest and hardest. She had an immense love for her fur babies, Max (Maximilian), her best friend and faithful companion and for Kitty. She took pleasure in going to beaches, especially Sound View, Old Lyme and Cape Cod. Patty also enjoyed coloring and music. She is survived by her brother, John D'Amato of West Springfield, MA, two nephews, Michael Mongeau and Pasquale John D'Amato, three nieces, Shannon Hurley, Sunshine Martineau and her husband Stephen Martineau, Nicole Ginsburg and her husband Phil Ginsburg, a great niece, Tessa Hurley and two great nephews, Evan and Ethan Ginsburg. Patty will be sadly missed by the family and friends who loved her.
