James F. Fulton, of Windsor Locks, CT, beloved husband of the late Lois (Gilbert) Fulton, entered into Eternal Rest on Monday, July 23, 2018 at Hartford Hospital. James was born on July 28, 1944, son of the late Betty (Fowler) Fulton and James M. Fulton. He participated in the space program for the Apollo missions while working at Hamilton Standard. Following he had a long career of over 25 years at Stanley Tools, where he served as Chief Metallurgist. Post-retirement, he taught adult education and mathematics. Outside of his career, James was an active member of Trinity Episcopal Church, particularly with the Luncheon in the Park project which served the homeless at Bushnell Park in Hartford. He was also a lifetime Eagle Scout. James is survived by his two children, Christopher Fulton and his wife, Kathleen of Rockland, MA, and Thomas Fulton of Windsor Locks; two grandchildren, Kaileigh and Mackenzie; his sister, Susan Poskitt and her husband Robert of South Dennis, MA, and many nieces, nephews, and extended family. His family will receive friends on, Friday, July 27 from 5 – 8 pm at Windsor Locks Funeral Home, 441 Spring Street, Windsor Locks. A Funeral Service will be held at 12 pm Saturday, July 28 at Trinity Episcopal Church, 11 Church Street, Tariffville. In lieu of flowers, donation may be made to Trinity Episcopal Church, (Youth Ministry) 11 Church Street, Tariffville, CT 06081.
