It is with great sadness we announce the untimely passing of Destiny Marie Goulet on Thursday, June 28, 2018 and her new born child, Azalea Martinez Goulet on Friday, June 29, 2018. Destiny was born September 11, 2001, in the Rockville section of Vernon the daughter of the Warren and Rachel (Scott) Goulet of Vernon. Destiny was raised in Enfield and attended Enfield High School. She had a voice that would make the angels cry and was an extremely talented writer. Destiny was a writer, she loved to journal and took comfort in writing in her journal. She was an animal lover and dreamed of becoming a veterinarian. In addition to her parents, Warren and Rachel she is also survived by five brothers, Dylan Scott, Dominic and Daniel Spencer, Darren and Damien Goulet, and a sister, Ava Goulet; her aunts, Cynthia Blazys and her husband, Leonard, Amber and Amiee Sweeney; her uncle Benjamin Scott, III of Enfield; her step-grandmother, Linda Scott of Enfield and her children, Tracy Krape of FL , Christopher Brodeur of FL and Adam Brodeur of Enfield and numerous cousins. Destiny was predeceased by her maternal grandfather, Benjamin Scott, Jr. and her paternal grandfather, Warren Goulet Relatives and friends are welcome to join the family during visiting hours on , Sunday, July 8, 2018 from 2 pm to 5 pm at Leete-Stevens Enfield Chapels, 61 South Rd., Enfield. A funeral service for Destiny and Azalea will be held on Monday, July 9, 2018, at 10 am at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Hazardville Cemetery in Enfield. Memorial contributions in memory of Destiny and Azalea for Suicide Prevention may be made to the Jordan Porco Foundation, Goodwin Square 225 Asylum Street, 12th floor, Hartford CT, 06103.
