William P. "Bill"  Malinoski
William P. "Bill" Malinoski, 69, of Enfield loving husband of Doreen (Pappagallo) Malinoski entered into Eternal Rest on Saturday, May 19, 2018, at St. Francis Hospital. Bill was born December 22, 1948, in Springfield, MA the son of the late Leo and Stella (Kukulka) Malinoski. Bill proudly served in the Connecticut Army National Guard. He was a graduate of Connecticut Central College where he received both B.S and M.S. degrees. Bill retired from Medical Claims Corp. in Bristol after several years. Prior to retiring he was employed with Pratt & Whitney Aircraft, the Travelers, and taught for several years at the East Windsor Middle School. Bill was extremely electronic savvy, he enjoyed anything to do with computers. He was a ham radio operator and longtime member of ARRL. Bill was a faithful parishioner of Holy Family Church and cherished time spent with his family. In addition to his wife, Doreen to whom he was married 47 years, he is also survived by two sons, Matthew Malinoski and his wife, Sherri of Somers and Jeffrey Malinoski and his wife, Katherine of Denver, Colorado; his two loving grandsons, Connor and Tyler; two brothers, Philip Malinoski and his wife, Joan of Port Orange, FL and Joseph Malinoski and his wife, Mary of Somers; three sisters, Anne Cunningham and her husband, Peter of Enfield, Frances White and her husband, Anthony "Tony" of Somers and Theresa Malinoski of Enfield; a sister-in-law, Lynn Carrasquillo and her husband, Flor "Junior" and several nieces, nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews. Relatives and friends are welcome to join the family on Wednesday, May 23, 2018, from 5 pm to 8 pm at the Leete-Stevens Enfield Chapels, 61 South Rd., Enfield. A funeral procession will gather on Thursday, May 24, 2018, at 9 am at the funeral home for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10 am at Holy Family Church. Burial with military honors will follow in St. Patrick's King Street Cemetery. Memorial contributions in Bill's memory may be made to the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation, 230 East Ohio Street, Suite 500 Chicago, Illinois 60611.
