Katherine Elaine Lindberg, 45, of Windsor Locks, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, April 11, 2018. Born in Hartford, she was raised in Windsor and graduated from Windsor High School, class of '91. She was dedicated to her work at Vinny's Little Acre in Windsor Locks for the past six years. Katherine loved to read and also enjoyed spending time with her family. She was especially loved by her nieces and nephews who called her "Auntie." She is survived by her mother Cheryl (Howard) Lindberg of Windsor Locks, her father Richard Lindberg and his wife Susan of West Hartford, her siblings, Greg Lindberg and his wife Sarah of Wallingford, Karen Duplin and her husband Ron of East Granby, Brian Lindberg and his significant other, Marilou Trencio of West Hartford, her three nephews, Mark, Jacob and Brendan Lindberg, five nieces, Kaitlyn and Larissa McDonough, Lauren Lindberg, Brittany and Madison Duplin. She also leaves four step-sisters, Mary Gomes, Bridget Mello, Carrie Conley, Gretchen Lussier, and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was predeceased by a brother Stephen Lindberg. Visitation hours will be held from 2-5 p.m. Sunday April 15, 2018 at Windsor Locks Funeral Home, 441 Spring St. Windsor Locks. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, April 16, 2018 at St. Mary Church, 42 Spring St., Windsor Locks.(Please meet at the church). Committal will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery.
