Janice Ann Vancour, 57, of Windsor Locks, passed away peacefully, Sunday, Feb. 18, 2018 at the Hebrew Home in West Hartford. Born in Hartford, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Evelyn (Nilsson) Seam. Janice owned and operated a cleaning service and was also employed with UPS for 13 years. She was a lifelong resident of the Windsor Locks community. Her most treasured time was the time spent with her family and friends.
She is survived by three children, Crystal Hernandez and her husband Hector of East Hartford, Nicole Creary and her husband Austin and Theodore R. Vancour IV and his partner Christie Brown all of Windsor Locks; six grandchildren, Jeremy White, Xavier Hernandez, Rylee Vancour, Parker Vancour, Austin Creary, and Alden Creary; two sisters, Carol Shapiro of Windsor Locks, and Betty Plis and her husband Randy of Windsor Locks; her partner, Paul Diproto of Windsor Locks. She also leaves several nieces and nephews and her beloved dog, Bagel. Calling Hours will be held from 4-7 p.m. Thurs., Feb. 22, 2018 at Windsor Locks Funeral Home, 441 Spring St., Windsor Locks, CT. Burial will be private.
