Obituary for Lucy Graves

Lucy Graves, 79, of Enfield, CT loving wife of Arthur Graves entered into Eternal Rest on Friday, January 26, 2018. Lucy was born in Brooklyn, New York on July 4, 1938, the loving daughter to the late Michael and Rose (Cama) Somma. She was raised in Freeport, NY and later moved to Enfield, CT, where she resided for 48 years. She worked as a legal secretary with Prudential Realty for over 30 years. Lucy was an avid reader, enjoyed shopping and was a parishioner of St. Martha Church. She loved traveling, going on cruises, and most recently, she enjoyed a trip to Italy with her family. Lucy enjoyed days spent at museums with her beloved husband, Art of 54 years. In addition to her husband Lucy is survived by three children, Michael Graves and his wife, Denise of Atlantic Beach, FL, Thomas Graves and his partner, Bill Hudnut of New York, NY, and Michele Graves of Springfield, MA; a brother, Sal Somma and his wife, Anne of Pittsburgh, PA; a sister, Marjorie Miller and her husband, Jerry of Boca Raton, FL; and a grandson, Jack Graves. At Lucy's request, there will be no services. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
