John J. "Jack" Arsenault
Father, husband, grandfather, and life of the party, John 'Jack' Arsenault was many things to many people. He was a cancer warrior who fought a courageous battle. Jack age 75, of Vernon, CT passed peacefully on December 19, 2017. Jack will forever be remembered by his wife and best friend, Gail (Steele) Arsenault, his son, Christopher Arsenault and his wife, Elizabeth; his daughter, Carrie Eaton and her husband, Morgan. He is survived by four loving grandchildren, Andrew and Caden Arsenault and Caroline and Mackenzie Eaton. Jack is also survived by his niece and nephew, Michael and Tina Covensky and his great-niece and great-nephew, Morgan and Ryan Covensky. He leaves behind special memories with the Fox family and especially Damian Fox, who he loved like a son. Jack was a passionate supporter of UConn Women's Basketball, loved fishing and playing drums with his son and grandson, and adored watching his granddaughters play sports at Woodstock Academy. It is difficult to imagine a day where Jack is unseen and unheard. He was larger than life. Please join us to share stories about life lived to the fullest. Jack's family will receive relatives and friends during visiting hours on Friday, December 29, 2017, from 5pm to 8pm at the Somers Funeral Home, 354 Main St. (Route 190) Somers.
