Obituary for Gwendolyn P. "Gwen" Trudeau (Pritchard)

Gwendolyn P. "Gwen" Trudeau (Pritchard)
Gwendolyn "Gwen" (Pritchard) Trudeau, 94, of Sturbridge, MA loving wife of the late Frank Trudeau, Jr. entered into Eternal Rest on Saturday, June 17, 2017, in the comfort of her home surrounded by her family. Gwen was born March 9, 1923, in Schuylkill Haven, PA the daughter of the late Norton and Rhoda (Thomas) Pritchard. Gwen retired after many years from the Somers Post Office. Always the most cheerful person, Gwen loved to play cards and was a master at bridge and solitaire. She played more games than we all can play in a lifetime and was a master at wheel and jeopardy as well. Gwen had a kind word for everyone and with her Pennsylvania dry wit and her love of family and friends she could make anyone laugh. Mom we will miss you each and every day. We know you will look over each of us as you did while you were here. When you get to HEAVEN have a scotch and relax; you deserve it. She is survived by three children, Thomas Trudeau and his wife, Joan of Bethel, CT, Wendy Trudeau and her husband, Bill Granata of Stratford, CT and Barbara Trudeau and her husband, Jack Earle with whom she made her home; a sister, Betsy Jerschkowsky and her husband, Oleg of Gaithersburg, MD; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Gwen was predeceased by two loving children, Frank Trudeau III and Betsy Trudeau St. Clair. There are no calling hours and funeral services and burial will be held privately at the convenience of the family. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Somers Funeral Home.
