Joseph Mancini, 66, of Enfield, beloved husband of Virginia "Ginny" (Dunphy) Mancini for 13 years, passed away Thursday, May 25, 2017 at St. Francis Hospital. Born and raised in Flushing Queens, NY, he was the son of the late Joseph and Frances (Velotti) Mancini. He lived in South Windsor for over 10 years and previously lived in Montgomery, NY. Joe was employed in maintenance engineering for over 40 years before retiring. He was an avid golfer who enjoyed his time on the greens. He loved hot rods and fast cars and was also a big movie buff. In addition to Ginny, Joe is survived by five children, Kenneth Mancini of Riverview, FL, Kristen Wuelfing and her husband Ed of Castleton on the Hudson, NY, James Blauvelt III and his wife Wendy of Oklahoma, Kelly Alday and her husband James of Bronx, NY, and Brian Blauvelt and his partner Jess of Pine Bush, NY; eleven grandchildren, and his best friend Mac McCusker of Enfield.
