Elaine (Salani) Consolati, 92, of Windsor Locks beloved wife of the late Francis D. Consolati entered into Eternal Rest on Friday, May 19, 2017, at MeadowBrook of Granby surrounded by her loving family. Elaine was born February 21, 1925, in Agawam, MA the daughter of the late Robert and Mary (Guidi) Salani. Elaine was born and raised in Agawam and graduated from Agawam High School. She moved to Windsor Locks in 1947. She was employed with the former Combustion Engineering from which she retired after 10 years. She was a parishioner of St. Mary Church and member of the Windsor Locks Senior Center. Although she only resided at Stonebrook Village for a short time she enjoyed her time there. Elaine is survived by three children, Richard Consolati of Killingworth, Paul Consolati and his wife, Laurie of Burlington, and Lesley Friedrich and Mike Ulitsch of Granby; her four beloved grandchildren, Christopher Consolati and his wife, Annie of Westlake, OH, Joel Consolati and his fiancé, Liz Dapo of Watchung, NJ, Jessica Basile and her husband, Greg of Windsor Locks and Brian Friedrich and Kristen Martin of Enfield; her three loving great-grandchildren, Noah Consolati, Jacob and Tyler Basile; her niece, Diane Cacase and her husband, Brian; a nephew, Rob Liucci and his wife, Carol. Elaine was predeceased by a daughter–in-law, Patricia Consolati and two sisters, Edna Epaul and Elsie Liucci. Relatives and friends are welcome to join the family during visiting hours on Tuesday, May 23, 2017, from 9 am to 11 am at the Windsor Locks Funeral Home, 441 Spring St., Windsor Locks. A funeral procession will form at the funeral home at 11 am for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 11:30 am at St. Mary Church. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
