Matthew T. Ellis, 27, of Windsor Locks passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, May 4, 2017. Matt was born November 3, 1989, in Hartford, CT the loving son of Sharon Karto of Windsor Locks. In addition to his mother he is also survived by his brother, Michael Shiveley of Windsor Locks; Bill Farmer who was like a father to Matt; aunts, uncles,cousins and his dog, Lady. Matt was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Ken and Deanna Sue Karto and an aunt, Kathleen Karto. Relatives and friends are welcome to join the family during visiting hours on Thursday, May 11, 2017, from 4 pm to 6 pm at the Windsor Locks Funeral Home, 441 Spring St., Windsor Locks. Funeral services and burial will be held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Allied Sports and Recreation Program, 3 Pearson Way, Enfield, CT 06082.
