Obituary for Beverly E. Harris

Beverly E. Harris, 83, of Enfield, widow of Norman M. Harris (2010), entered into eternal rest, Monday, April 24, 2017 at Hartford Hospital. The daughter of the late Omer and Elizabeth (Barbetti) Landry, Beverly was born and raised in Claremont, NH. She lived in the Enfield community for over 50 years where she and Norman raised their family. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially babysitting her grandchildren, and spending time at her parents' cottage in NH. She also liked playing cards and Bingo. She leaves eight children, Melba Harris, Erica Harris, Heather Laliberte all of Enfield, Tamra Sheehan and her husband Rob of Suffield, Normandie Harris, Kevin Harris and his wife Annette, Tracy Harris, Kerry Harris and his partner Anna Balsalmo all of Enfield; seven grandchildren, four great grandchildren; a brother, Robert Landry and his wife Marci of Claremont, NH; a brother-in-law, Everett Lyons; and several nieces and nephews. Besides her husband, Beverly was predeceased by a sister, Kathryn Lyons. Visitation hours will be held from 3-6 p.m. Sunday April 30, 2017 at Leete-Stevens Enfield Chapels, 61 South Rd., Enfield. Family and friends may gather at 10:00 a.m. Monday May 1, 2017 at Leete-Stevens for a procession to Holy Family Church, 23 Simon Rd., Enfield for a 11:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial. Committal will follow at Hazardville Cemetery.
