Obituary for William J. Boudah

William "Bill" Boudah died peacefully on Monday, April 3rd at the University of Kansas Medical Center in Kansas City, KS at the age of 83. Bill is survived by best friend and companion, Nancy Henrich; children, William Boudah Jr and his wife Ellen, and David Boudah all of Enfield, CT; grandchildren, Michael, Gregory, Kelly, Samantha, and Joseph; and many close friends. Bill was born in 1933 in Burlington, VT. After completing high school, Bill joined the military and served during the Korean War with the Marines, Air National Guard, and the Navy. After leaving the service he married his wife of 43 years Elizabeth Toth. During that time he went back to school to achieve a Bachelor's degree in Business from the University of Hartford in Hartford, CT. Shortly after moving to Enfield, CT, Bill began working for Royal Typewriter and then Johnson and Johnson for the rest of his extremely successful career. After retiring, Bill worked for years as an EMT in Windsor, CT and a grief counselor at Hartford Hospital. Bill loved to travel and during retirement he and Nancy travelled to over 100 different countries. His children remember him as a kind father who encouraged them to pursue their goals. He was extremely well liked by everyone who met him and he will be sorely missed. Calling hours are scheduled for April 22nd at the Windsor Locks Funeral Home in Windsor Locks, CT from 9-11am. This will be followed with a burial service at the cemetery. The family would like to thank all his caregivers for their efforts, care, and dedication.
