Nancy (Shepard) Nash, 72, of Windsor Locks, beloved wife of 25 years to Richard W. Nash, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 30, 2017, at Bickford Health Care Center. She was born in Lawrence, Mass on June 14, 1944; daughter of the late Arthur J. and Catherine (Gauthier) Shepard. She was a communicant of St. Mary Church and was employed by Ahlstrom for over 25 years as an Insurance Benefits Coordinator. Nancy and her husband enjoyed sprint car racing, and attended many races around the country. Nancy enjoyed traveling to the Port Royal Speedway in Port Royal, PA to her favorite raceway. She also was an avid Boston Red Sox and UCONN Women’s basketball fan. In addition to her husband Rick, she is survived by two sisters, Mary Marcotte and her husband Michael of Clinton, MA and Jane Kelleher and her husband Joseph of CA; 3 nieces, Maureen, Erin, Beth Ann, a nephew, Adam, 3 great-nephews, Malakai, Kane, Asher and a great niece, Sadie. The family expresses great appreciation to the staff at Bickford Health Care Center for the dedicated and compassionate care they gave Nancy for many years. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, February 3, 2017 at 11:30 a.m. at St. Robert Bellarmine Church, 52 South Elm Street, Windsor Locks, CT.
