Carmelina T. Ossowski, 88, of Somers, entered into eternal peace at home Thursday, January 26, 2017. Born and raised in the Thompsonville section of Enfield, she was the daughter of the late Vito and Mary (Winiarski) Spinelli. "Carmie" enjoyed flowers and gardening and taking care of her home. Her family was very special to her. She is survived by two sons, Frank E. Pysz of Suffield, and Edward C. Pysz and his wife Karen of Plainville, CT; a grandson, Frankie C. Pysz Jr. of Suffield; one niece Shirley Jackson of Agawam, MA; two cousins, Eileen Krol of Somers and Florence Egan; her close friend Chet Swider of Suffield. She was predeceased by three husbands, Frank Pysz, Dominic Bartomelli, and Roch Ossowski; and a daughter-in-law, Elizabeth Pysz. A Mass of Christian Burial will held at 12:00 p.m. Monday January 30, 2017 at All Saints Church in Somersville. Family and friends are invited for visitation prior to the Mass Monday morning from 10:30-11:30 a.m. at Somers Funeral Home, 354 Main St., Somers. Committal will be held at Somers Center Cemetery.
