Raymond M.  LaBree Jr.
Raymond M. “Ray”LaBree, Jr., 88, of Windsor Locks entered into Eternal Rest on Friday, December 2, 2016, in the comfort of his home surrounded by his family. Ray was predeceased by his wife of 40 years, Josephine (Luce) LaBree. Raymond was born May 11, 1928, in Monson, Maine the son of the late Raymond Sr. and Evelyn (Heaney) LaBree. Ray was employed as a mechanic for many years and later retired from the Stanadyne Corp. in Windsor as research engineer. He was a member of the Congregational Church of Windsor Locks. Ray enjoyed flying radio control airplanes and antique cars and was a member of the Tobacco Valley Flyers Radio Control Club, the Hupmobile Club, and the Studebaker Club. Ray is survived by five children, Arthur LaBree and his wife, Carla of Chesapeake, VA, Bradley LaBree and his wife, Donna of Midlothian, VA, Robyne Johnson and her husband, Michael of Smithfield, VA, Laurie LaBree of Windsor Locks and Stacey LaBree and her fiancé, Todd of New Britain; a brother, Clifton, LaBree of New Boston, NH; 12 grandchildren, Kimberly Randall and husband; Jerald Smith and wife; Raymond Smith and wife; Pamela Haiko and significant other; Timothy Haiko and significant other; Erika Wise and husband; Christina LaBree; Phillip Goulet and wife; Michelle Riches and husband; Olivia Goulet; Danielle Jones and husband; Michael LaBree; numerous great-grandchildren; a great-great grandson and several nieces and nephews. Ray was predeceased by a brother and two sisters. Relatives and friends are welcome to join the family during visiting hours on Monday December 5, 2016, from 5 pm to 8 pm at the Windsor Locks Funeral Home, 441 Spring St., Windsor Locks. A funeral service for Ray will be celebrated on Tuesday, December 6, 2016, at 10 am at the Congregational Church of Windsor Locks, 8 Main St., Windsor Locks. Please meet at the church.
