Honorata Kubrak, 82, of Somers, formerly of Enfield, beloved wife of the late Wladyslaw Kubrak, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 26, 2016, at St. Francis Hospital surrounded by her family. She was born on August 15, 1934, in Poland, a daughter of the late Jozef and Helena Zielinski. Honorata lived most of her life in Poland before moving to Enfield in 1992 and later Somers in 2006. She was a communicant of St. Adalbert Church. Honorata enjoyed knitting, reading, and cooking. She loved spending time with her family especially her grandchildren. Honorata is survived by her children, Dorota Bujnowski and her husband Arkadiusz of Somers, Pawel Kubrak and his wife Grazyna of Poland; four grandchildren, Michael Bujnowski, Evelyn Bujnowski, Marcin Kubrak, Justyna Kubrak and her husband Patryk; one great-granddauhter, Weronika Podlaska; three sisters, Stanislawa Chylinska of Poland, Zofia Wasiulewski of Kensigton, Stefania Duda of Berlin, a daughter-in-law, Danuta, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was predeceased by a son Wieslaw Kubrak and two brothers, Stanislaw and Antoni Zielinski. Relatives and friends may join the family for calling hours on Friday, December 2, 2016 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Leete-Stevens Enfield Chapels, 61 South Road, Enfield, CT. A funeral procession will gather on Saturday, December 3, 2016 at 9:00 a.m. at the funeral home for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. at St. Adalbert Church, 90 Alden Ave., Enfield, CT. Burial will follow in St. Patrick King Street Cemetery.
