Carolyn M. Kelly, 71, of Enfield, beloved wife of John Kelly, entered into eternal peace Saturday, Dec. 23, 2017 at home surrounded by her loving family. The daughter of the late William and Rita (Murphy) Brady, Carolyn was born in Fort Edward, NY. A resident of Enfield for 39 years she was a loving stay-at-home mom until she worked at Stop & Shop for over 20 years. She enjoyed tending her gardens, refinishing furniture, taking care of her neighbors, and most of all being Grandma Kelly to her wonderful grandchildren. Besides her husband John, she is survived by four children, Erin and Mike Marella of Simsbury, Eric and Carrie Kelly of Tolland, Bryan and Anna Kelly of Hartford, and Megan and Mike Cournoyer of West Springfield; seven grandchildren, Kelly and Ryan Marella, Kendall and Madelyn Cournoyer, Autumn Kelly, and Mairead and Farren Kelly; three sisters, Mary and Dave Esperti, Patricia and Dave Gregory, and Colleen and Dick Winfield. She also leaves well over 80 nieces and nephews as well as her "adopted daughter" Casey Sullivan Menard and "adopted grandchildren" Trevor and Tess Brookes. She was predeceased by two sisters, her twin Carol Ann VanAernum and Suellen Brady, as well as three brothers, William, Thomas, and James Brady. The Kelly Family would like to acknowledge the many medical professionals that Carolyn connected with along the way and a special thank you to her sister-in-law Ann Kelly for her unwavering devotion and guidance. Visitation hours will be held from 4-7 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 26, 2017 at Leete-Stevens Enfield Chapels, 61 South Rd., Enfield. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Wed, Dec. 27, 2017 at Holy Family Church, 23 Simon Rd., Enfield. (Please Meet at Church). Committal will be held at St. Joseph Cemetery in Ft.
