Obituary for John W. Navaroli Jr.

John W. Navaroli, Jr., 72, of Enfield, CT, beloved husband of 32 years to Floreen (Stapleton) Navaroli, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 29, 2016, at St. Francis Hospital. He was born on August 6, 1944, in Hartford, CT, son of Marion (Washington) Bouchard of Kansas City, Missouri and the late John J. Navaroli. John proudly served his country in the United States Army as a Sergeant during the Vietnam War. He was a recipient of the Bronze Star and served as a flame track team member, recipient unit 54D20 chemical team and served in the Big Red 1 infantry division. He was employed by Ayotte Brother Construction Co. for many years before retiring. He was a member of the teamsters local 671 in East Hartford and the VFW Post 7330. In addition to his wife, Floreen, and his mother Marion he is survived by his children, Shannon Ayotte Stauffer of Suffield, Angel Kiss of Enfield, and Stefan Kiss of Missouri; a granddaughter, Diamond Kiss; a brother, Michael Navaroli of Windsor Locks, a sister, Maryann Navaroli of Avon; and many nieces and nephews, Mark, Michelle, Joe, Johnny, Susie, and Tony. Relatives and friends may join the family for visiting hours on Thursday, November 3, 2016 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Windsor Locks Funeral Home, 441 Spring Street, Windsor Locks, CT. A graveside service will be held on Friday, November 4, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Suffield, CT.
