Obituary for Rittlinger

Barbara Ann (Rittlinger) Milesi, 76, of Windsor Locks loving wife of Robert R. Milesi entered into Eternal Rest on Monday, June 12, 2017, at Kimberly Hall North. Barbara was born August 3, 1940, in the Rockville section of Vernon the daughter of the late Joseph and Filomena (Celentano) Rittlinger. Barbara was born and raised in Rockville and lived in Portland Maine and New Jersey prior to moving to Windsor Locks where she made her home. She was hairdresser for many years operating the salon from her home. Barbara was a faithful parishioner of St. Mary Church where she was a Eucharistic Minister bringing the Eucharist to the shut-ins . In addition to her husband she is also survived by a son, Robert J. Milesi of MA; two brothers, Joseph Rittlinger and his wife, Sylvia of Windsor Locks and Ronald Rittlinger and his wife, Gail of Windsor and several nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are welcome to join the family during visiting hours on Friday, June 16, 2017, from 9:30 am to 10:30 am at the Windsor Locks Funeral Home, 441 Spring St., Windsor Locks. A funeral procession will gather at the funeral home at 10:30 am for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 11 am at St. Mary Church. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery. Memorial contributions in Barbara’s memory may be made to St. Mary Church, 42 Spring St., Windsor Locks, CT 06096.
