Condolence From: JoAnn powling
Condolence: Sylvio, our as we called him "Butchie" was my first cousin. His uncle that he remembered was my dad Francis J. Quagliaroli. Back then in the late 50's and 60's no one knew what type of mental health problems he had and no one seem to care. My dad would take him to his auto shop and have him sweep the floors and do small jobs, give him the watches he liked or a radio, a small paycheck and treat him with kindness. I hadn't seen him in years and one day I was at Shop Rite in Enfield, about 6 years ago and saw him. Did remember me. Will miss him, he was and always will be a kind soul.

Condolence: So much of Sylvio's life preceded my introduction to him. He was a particularly grumpy fellow who handed out smiles and pleasantries very carefully. And when he did, he warmed people's souls. Somehow, everyone who knew him loved him. When he gave, we all accepted. There is perhaps no better legacy than that of bestowing affection on people one has watched carefully for many days. He has left a space and will be missed.

Condolence: When I think of Sylvio I will remember the times I was lucky enough to get a smile and a big HI. It may not have happened often, so when it did it was wonderful.
