Obituary for Josephine Satonick

Josephine Satonick, 95, lifelong resident of Windsor Locks beloved wife of the late John Satonick entered into eternal life on Monday, September 12, 2016, at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born on May 28, 1921, in Windsor Locks a daughter of the late Frank and Kathryn (Rachel) Povlick. She was a communicant of St. Mary Church and enjoyed spending her days at the Enfield and Windsor Adult Day Care. Josephine enjoyed knitting, singing, and crossword puzzles. She is survived by her granddaughter, Andrea Jean Drossel-Shea and her husband Robert of Windsor Locks, a grandson, Mark Kirschbaum of Pensacola, FL; 3 great-grandchildren, Rachel Drossel, Erin Fluckiger and her husband John, and Justin Kirshbaum; 6 great-great- grandchildren, Austan, Tiana, Mckenzie, Stephanie, Taylor, and Hunter, a great-great-great-granddaughter, Alessandra, and many nieces and nephews. Josephine was predeceased by a daughter, Linda Kirschbaum, a great-granddaughter Heather Kirschbaum, a great-great-grandson, Devon Provost, and four siblings. Relatives and friends may join the family for visiting hours on Saturday, September 17, 2016 from 9:00 to 10:30 a.m. at Windsor Locks Funeral Home, 441 Spring Street, Windsor Locks, CT. A funeral service will follow at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery.
