Nancie G. Evans, 82, of Enfield, entered into eternal peace on
Thursday, May 26, 2016 at Parkway Pavilion Healthcare. Born in
Springfield, MA, Nancie was raised in Worcester. She had lived in
Hartford and Cromwell for many years and was retired from ATT, formerly SNET, after
20 plus years. She was most recently residing in Melbourne, FL where
she enjoyed worshiping at Calvary Chapel. Nancie loved music and dancing
and was a true "people person." She also enjoyed
gardening in her free time. She is survived by her children, Deborah
Burgess and her husband Peter of Enfield, Kimberly Rae Brown and her
husband Steven of Glastonbury, Albert Charles Evans Jr., and his wife
Kim of Enfield, Julie Rachel and her husband David of GA, and Andrea
Johnson and her husband Larry of FL. She also leaves seventeen
grandchildren, and several great grandchildren. Visitation will be
held from 6-7 p.m. Thursday, June 2, 2016 followed by a Memorial
Service at 7 p.m. at Leete-Stevens Enfield Chapels, 61 South Rd.,
Enfield. Burial will be private and held at the convenience of the
family. Donations in Nancie's memory may be made to the American
