Edward D. Ingraham III, 73, of Enfield, passed away suddenly at Hartford Hospital, Hartford on Wednesday, April 6, 2016. Born in Springfield, MA, on December 25, 1942 and son of the Edward D. Ingraham Jr., and Charlotte (Andrus) Ingraham. He was a lifelong residence. Before retiring he was employed by the Town of Enfield as a carpenter. Edward was a longtime member of the Enfield Congregation Church and enjoyed classic cars. He leaves two children, Edward D. Ingraham IV and his partner, Lisa Silks of Manchester and Jeffrey A. Ingraham and his fiancée, Pamela Skidgel of East Hartford; four grandchildren, Brandan, Noah, Cole, Ryan; nieces, nephews and his canine companion Rusty.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, April 11 at 11 a.m. at Leete-Stevens Enfield Chapels, 61 South Road, Enfield. Burial will follow at Enfield Street Cemetery. His family will receive friends on Sunday, April 10 from 2 to 4 p.m. at the funeral home.
