Catherine P. Usaconis, 85, of Windsor Locks and formerly of Enfield, widow of Anthony Usaconis (1993), entered into eternal peace Wednesday, July 31, 2013 at Johnson Memorial Medical Center in Stafford. The daughter of the late Giochino and Christina (Barbarullo) Turilo, Catherine was born and raised in Enfield and had lived in the community most of her life, before moving to Windsor Locks where she resided for the past 13 years. Catherine enjoyed camping and the outdoors. She especially enjoyed spending time with her beloved cat Katie Ann. She is survived by two daughters, Linda Kuchta of Windsor Locks, Shirley Hoffman of Hebron, and a son-in-law, Wayne Kuchta of Chicopee, MA; two grandsons, Justin and Bryan Hoffman. Besides her husband Anthony, she was predeceased by a son-in-law Robert Hoffman. Family and friends will gather at 9:00 a.m. Monday, August 5th , 2013 at Leete-Stevens Enfield Chapels, 61 South Rd., Enfield for a funeral procession to St. Patrick Church, 64 Pearl St., Enfield, for a 10:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial. Committal will follow at St. Patrick’s King St. Cemetery. Calling hours will be held Sunday August 4th from 3-7 p.m. at Leete-Stevens Enfield Chapels.
