Joseph J. Rocconella, 46, of Windsor Locks passed away unexpectedly on Friday, November 30, 2012. Joe was born October 25, 1966, in Hartford, CT the son of Anna (Klecman) Rocconella of Windsor Locks and the late Michael Rocconella. Joseph was a graduate of Windsor Locks High School Class of 1984. Joseph was an avid fan of NASCAR and enjoyed a good joke or two. Joe was a proud father of his two daughters, Caitlyn and Rachael and cherished time spent with them. He is survived by four brothers, Robert Rocconella and his wife, Birgit of Enfield, Daniel Lupacchino and wife, Marie of Enfield, Michael Lupacchino of East Hartford and Francis Lupacchino and wife, Patty of Windsor; four sisters, Barbara Lupacchino of Windsor Locks, Patty Zukowski and husband Mike of Somers, Michele Hartje and husband, Robert of Canton and Anna Mercey and husband, Ron of Windsor Locks and many nieces, nephews and friends. Relatives and friends are welcome to join the family on Wednesday, December 5, 2012, from 5-7 pm at the Windsor Locks Funeral Home, 441 Spring St., Windsor Locks. Burial will be held privately. In lieu of flowers memorial donations in memory of Joseph may be made to the Joseph J. Rocconella Memorial Fund, c/o First National Bank of Suffield, 6 National Dr., Windsor Locks, CT 06096.
